Make Music Day (or Fete de la Musique) takes place all over the world on June 21st.
It is a celebration of music and music making and an encouragement to make some musical noise – whether you are a pro or a complete amateur – and share the joy on the longest day of the year.
We are organising Make Music Oxfordshire with a 12-hour-programme of performances, workshops, sessions and sing-alongs from 10-10 on Sunday 21st June.
Live streams from many fine musicians as well as a virtual folk session on Zoom and a sing-along of some description.
In the week leading up to the 21st there will be free online workshops (harmonica, guitar, ukulele) as well as interviews with Oxfordshire musicans, and we have launched a song swap challenge
We hope you want to join the fun!
